 Warsaw, January 22-23, 2008

under the patronage of the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as part of the Warsaw Winter Residence of the Center for Theater Practices “Gardzienice” in Warsaw under the patronage and financial support of the Capital City of Warsaw The program of the conference – opened by the Rector of SWPS, prof. Andrzej Eliasz and the President of the Capital City of Warsaw, Ms Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz – there were 25 papers by outstanding theoreticians and practitioners of Theater and Humanities from Poland and around the world, grouped in 5 thematic sessions. The accompanying events included screenings of films from the OPT Gardzienice archive, discussion panels, a press conference and the exhibition “303 photos from the history of Gardzienice”.
