DECLARATION OF ACCESSIBILITY

“GARDZIENICE” THEATER PRACTICE CENTER

ACCESSIBILITY DECLARATION FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

AVAILABILITY STATEMENT

The Center for Theater Practices “Gardzienice” undertakes to ensure the availability of its website in accordance with the Act of April 4, 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities (Journal of Laws 2019, item 848, as amended).

This accessibility statement applies to the website:

www.gardzienice.org

Compliance status:

This website is inconsistent with the Act of April 4, 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities (Journal of Laws 2019, item 848 as amended)

Incompatibilities are listed below:

– full range of the website (not adapted to the needs of visually impaired people – high contrast options / font enlargement / audio description; no facilities for the deaf: no subtitles / sign language messages for materials with sound).

The website content is not available for the following reasons:

disproportionate load:

The current website was created in 2013. The introduction of the facilities provided for by the Act requires a comprehensive reconstruction of the website. Due to the proprietary nature of the solutions used on the website and their archaic nature, it is not possible to simply extend the functionality of the website with the functions required under the Act.

Therefore, the Center for Theater Practices “Gardzienice” has started work on creating a new website that will meet the requirements of the act.

Therefore, the Center for Theater Practices “Gardzienice” provides alternative solutions:

Information about the institution can be obtained on the website of the Public Information Bulletin, largely compliant with the requirements of the Act: https://optgardzienice.bip.lubelskie.pl/

Other content can be made available by phone, e-mail or by meeting directly at the Center’s office in Lublin at ul. Grodzka 5a.

This statement was made on September 7, 2020.

If you want to use alternative solutions, please contact us by e-mail: office@gardzineice.org or by phone: 81 532 98 40.

You can submit requests for unavailable information in the same way, and submit complaints about non-availability.

Everyone has the right to request that the digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or any of their elements be ensured. You can also request information to be made available in alternative forms, such as reading a digitally unavailable document, describing the content of the film without audio description, etc. The request should contain the data of the person submitting the request, indication of which website or mobile application is meant and the method of contact. If the requesting person reports the need to receive information in an alternative form, he should also specify the form of this information.

Appeal proceedings:

The public entity should fulfill the request immediately and no later than within 7 days. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity immediately informs about when it will be possible to fulfill the request, and this deadline may not be longer than 2 months. If accessibility is not possible, the public entity may propose an alternative way of accessing the information.

In the event that the entity refuses to comply with the request to ensure the availability or alternative access to information, a complaint may be made against such action. After exhausting all possibilities, the complaint may also be sent to the Ombudsman. Architectural accessibility
