‘TIMON OF ATHENS’ BY W. SHAKESPEARE AND ‘IPHIGENIA IN T…” – THEATRE MARATHON ✦JANUARY✦ 31 JANUARY (SATURDAY)

During the Theatre Marathons on 31 January (Saturday), we invite you to musical performances:

✦ ‘Timon of Athens’ by William Shakespeare, translated by Antoni Libera, author of the performance: Włodzimierz Staniewski, music by Mikołaj Blajda, set design by Marek Chowaniec, costumes by Aleksandra Reda and Weronika Karwowska. The performance features an international cast, with subtitles in Polish and English; Jarosław Gajewski in the title role.
Stage in the Granary
Duration – 75 minutes

✦ Iphigenia in T… based on Euripides’ “Iphigenia in Tauris”,
directed by Włodzimierz Staniewski. A timely performance. With references to Crimea, Ukraine, Russia, Poland, war and the vicissitudes of our human fate.

Performed at the Duża Oficyna theatre.
