By Finger Through Water

If one would have a need for words to describe Karolina’s music it would be: sensitivity to the world around and unstopable strenght of the voice rooted deeply in nature. Womanly. Primary. It fascinates, moves and doesn’t allow to be forgotten.

Original music of Karolina’s and her band is inseparably tied to the autochtonic Polish culture. Her strong connection with the Slavic is hearable in each and every sound, and a band of distinguished musicians with women’s choir singing with white voices (sing-scream) gives the power and musical colours to the whole. It’s not a typical Polish folk though, but a balance on the border of what is autochtonic and what is modern.

It is a true feast of sounds of the instruments from various parts of the world, vocal techniques (white voice, aliquote singing), touching melodies and rhythms. This space, unrestricted by no limits, grants a turf of meeting for Nature and various emotions.
