The Tradition of the Spectacle in India – films from the collection of Elżbieta Dziuk-Renik and Krzysztof Renik.

Gods Arrive Dancing, Tejjam – the Dance of the Gods.
The Tale of the Bloodied Goddess, The Sacred Dust, Dancing for the Goddess – films dedicated to the ritual tradition of Mudijettu, i.e. the tale of the divinity created by other gods to combat a vile demon-king.
Cham – the dance, The Fire that Purifies – films documenting the ritual dance of the Buddhist monks and the magnificent costumes and masks accompanying it. It is performed annually (usually in winter) in the courtyards of the Himalayan monasteries.

On Saturday: selection of films dedicated to contemporary dance and dance theatre, including choreographies of the Netherland Dance Company and the National Ballet of Spain. On Sunday: the filmed version of Gardzienice’s Iphigenia in Aulis (dir. Staniewski, cinematography: Wojciech Staroń).
