The Water Nymph as an alter ego of AI

The Water Nymph, an avatar of the artist created in Unreal Engine. It is capable of maintaining a conversation with her, responds to commands and performs actions, e.g. choreography, picking up objects in the virtual environment. 

“As a performer, I seek new forms of communication in art, using technologies, DIY methods and audience participation. For me, art is a tool for positive social change in the context of the multiplied crises we live in. Since 2017, I have been creating under the pseudonym WetMeWild.”

WetMeWild – hydrosexual artist and co-creator of interdisciplinary projects that combine art with technology and social activism. Through a performative and interactive experience of technology and digital art, her projects foster awareness of the social and environmental disaster. Her works have been showcased in Berlin, Quebec, Jakarta, Warsaw and New York, among others.
