Oleg Drach’s artistic residence

We are pleased to announce that between July and September 2025, the Gardzienice Centre for Theatre Practices will host Oleg Dracz as part of an artistic residency, providing organisational, logistical and administrative support for the creative project, which includes:

• Work on William Shakespeare’s play Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, leading to the creation of an original dramatic work in the form of a monodrama with the working title Gertrude.
• Research and exploration of new stylistic structures in the process of creating dramatic text and stage performance form (July–August 2025).
• Production of a theatre performance – a monodrama with the working title Gertrude (September 2025).
• Public presentation of the monodrama Gertruda – free performance for the audience (September 2025).

The ‘Gardzienice’ Centre for Theatre Practices is participating in an artistic residency programme for artists from Ukraine organised by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute
