The publication ‘When darkness falls’ is an authorial project of Tomasz Sikora, one of the most outstanding contemporary Polish photographers. The album is devoted to Lublin. The artist wanders around the city at night, discovering its unique character. Tomek Sikora has succeeded in creating an artistic portrait of Lublin, capturing the spirit of the place, showing its cultural heritage and its pulsating contemporary life. Marcin Wroński, a writer from Lublin, was invited to collaborate on the publication. With a series of essays, he expands the space of the publication with the rich history of the city. The original visual concept of the album was prepared by Mark Popielnicki, a graphic artist from Lublin. The publication will be published by the Boni Libri Leszek Dulik Publishing House, in a Polish-English hardback version with a volume of 200 pages.
