The 1920s. The American ‘golden age of jazz’: modernity and freedom, prohibition and hedonism, technological development and consumerism. A hundred years have passed, and it still sounds familiar?

So let’s have some fun: what if we transported people from the ‘Roaring Twenties’ to the heart of today’s city – what would happen? 

What pitfalls of modernity might surprise them? 

And would they even manage to survive in our times? 

VIVACITY is an extraordinary vehicle in which eight remarkable dancers take the audience on a thrilling journey of contrasts, where the elegance and carefreeness of the past century meets the maze of challenges of today’s ruthless reality.
