The event was held at the invitation of the Archive of Performances of Greek and Roman Drama of the University of Oxford, at the initiative of Prof. Fiona Macintosh. An introduction was given by Professor Oliver Taplin

Earlier, in September 2013, in collaboration with the Archive of Performances of Greek and Roman Drama an exhibition “Transformative Stages: A Global History of Staniewski Centre for Theatre Practices Gardzienice” focused around the ancient performances of the theatre “Gardzienice”: “Metamorphoses”, “Elektra”, “Iphigenia in A…”, “Iphigenia in T…”, “Pythian Oratorio”. It was presented in Gardzienice (Palace, Conference Room)
